She left and didn't return... A girl's disappearance shakes Britain and baffles intelligence services
British authorities are conducting a major search for a 23-year-old woman who went jogging and disappeared completely.
The woman is Jenny Hall, who left her family's farm in Durham last Tuesday at 3 p.m. Durham Police said her last known location was on the road between Stanhope and Eggleston, where her red Ford Focus was parked.
As the major search entered its fourth day on Saturday, police said that officers, along with mountain search and rescue teams, would be working in Hamsterley Forest and surrounding areas to search for any trace of her.
Authorities have begun launching drones along the jogging routes Jenny is suspected of having taken. Jenny was last seen wearing a blue John Deere jacket and dark sweatpants. Her family told police she may have been "wearing a green jacket with her hair up."
The case suffered a painful blow when digital intelligence confirmed they had conducted extensive investigations into her mobile phone, smartwatch, and running apps, but the investigation yielded no results to determine her whereabouts.
Authorities said on Friday they were "very concerned" as the search focused on the running routes between Eggleston and Hamsterley that Jenny Hall regularly used.
