Tehran Arrests Dozens of "Spies", Reveals Drone Workshop in Isfahan

After several details emerged regarding Mossad's infiltration of Iran, Iranian authorities announced that they had arrested dozens of "saboteurs and spies" linked to Israel since the start of the conflict last Friday, according to state media. Iranian authorities also announced that they had executed a man convicted of spying for the Israeli intelligence agency (Mossad), Ismail Fakri.

In a television interview, Iranian police chief Ahmad Reza Radan revealed the arrest of several people he described as "traitors" who had participated in sabotage, assassination, or other threatening acts. He added that police had identified and arrested Mossad agents in Alborz Province and other parts of the country.

For his part, the deputy police chief of Isfahan said that officers had found a workshop near the city of Isfahan in central Iran containing large quantities of equipment and parts for manufacturing drones and small aircraft, and arrested four suspects, according to the Fars News Agency. "Manufacturing Bombs and Explosives"

This came after Iranian police announced on Sunday that they had arrested "two members of a Mossad cell" in the northern Alborz province. They added that the two individuals were "involved in manufacturing bombs, explosives, and electronic equipment in a hideout in the Savjobola area," according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency. It also came after a drone manufacturing workshop was exposed in the capital, Tehran, in footage broadcast on Iranian television yesterday.

"Intelligence Cooperation"

The Revolutionary Guards' Intelligence Service warned last Saturday that any intelligence cooperation with Mossad, or communication with individuals linked to Israel, is a crime punishable by law with the harshest penalties. It also warned against "carrying out cultural, media, or propaganda activities that support Israel."

Meanwhile, Iranian authorities arrested five people in the central city of Yazd on charges of taking photos and cooperating with Israel. Last Friday, Israel broadcast footage of Mossad agents inside Iran launching drones toward military sites. Meanwhile, informed sources revealed that Mossad teams had penetrated Iran months and years ago, trained teams, and infiltrated drones through commercial intermediaries without their knowledge.

It's worth noting that Israel and Iran have exchanged a series of attacks and threats over the past few days, after Tel Aviv carried out several assassinations of senior military leaders and 14 nuclear scientists, suggesting a major intelligence breach.
