Houthi group's expropriation and confiscation of citizens lands

The terrorist Houthi militia stormed a citizen's house and forcibly seized some of its apartments after tampering with its contents, besieging its residents, and kidnapping one of its owners.

Human rights sources told "Yemeni Youth Net" that Houthi elements led by the so-called "Abu Jihad", the director of the Ibb Security Directorate office in the Houthi militia authorities, and the leader Ahmed Al-Asri, the former director of the Guidance Office in the governorate, stormed the house of two citizens from the Al-Salmi family located in the Al-Dhahar District yesterday, Sunday, and tampered with its contents.

The sources added that the Houthi elements tampered with the contents of the house, broke and removed the doors, besieged the residents, and kidnapped one of its owners, named "Mansour Mahyoub Ahmed Al-Salmi."

The sources reported that the militia seized one of the apartments in the house and raised a sign bearing the name of the "Great Messenger" Association.

The sources indicated, quoting the owners of the house, that the militia had forcibly occupied their land in the Al-Salbah area and fabricated malicious charges against them, and had kidnapped five of them before they were later released.

Monitoring Organization condemns the incident

For its part, the Monitoring Organization for Rights and Freedoms condemned the incident and called on the militia to stop its crimes against civilians, evacuate the house, and release the kidnapped person.
