 A leaked document from the Turkish intelligence showed that a prominent member of the ruling Justice and Development Party government in Turkey and deputy head of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Turkish Parliament had received a $ 65 million bribe from Qatari intelligence.

The document, published today, Wednesday, by the Nordic Monitor website, which specializes in monitoring Turkish affairs, shows that the Turkish official, Ahmet Berat Konkar, who is close to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, secretly communicated with a Qatari intelligence officer to receive the money, a week before the discussion of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Turkish Parliament Of the agreement that allowed the deployment of Turkish forces in Qatar.


The incident of communication about the bribery was revealed through the testimony of Admiral Sinan Surer, who was in charge of the Turkish army's Foreign Intelligence Branch, known officially as the General Staff Department to assess the first intelligence analysis.
