A dog captivates Tunisians... helping her owner with construction and farming

A dog has become a social media star in Tunisia after videos circulated showing her assisting her owner with his daily tasks, particularly in construction and farming.

The videos show the dog meticulously following her owner's commands, fetching tools and equipment needed for his work, whether at construction sites or during farming, in a remarkably organized manner. This has sparked questions about her training level and the time it took her to acquire these skills.

In this context, the dog's owner, Bilal Zakhama, stated that his passion for raising animals, especially dogs, enabled him to develop specialized training skills. He explained that he relied on personal effort in this area, drawing on his experience in handling and communicating with dogs, which facilitated the process of teaching her commands.

He added that the dog featured in the videos, a Belgian Malinois, was acquired when she was just over a month old, and he has cared for her ever since. 

He emphasized that the strong bond that developed between them greatly contributed to the success of her training, to the point that she now mimics his behavior and participates in some of his daily tasks, noting that she enjoys what she does.

Furthermore, Bilal pointed out that this dog has become like a member of his family and a close friend, accompanying him on his travels and staying by his side at all times to facilitate his work. 

He concluded by stressing that the experience has shown that dogs can be partners in work and daily life, not just for guarding or hunting, due to their intelligence and ability to understand and respond to commands.
