Kylian Mbappé faced renewed criticism from Real Madrid fans after being spotted on the Italian island of Sardinia with Spanish actress Ester Exposito, despite undergoing recovery from a muscle injury.

Videos of this outing, which followed a previous appearance with Exposito in Paris, circulated widely on social media, sparking outrage among fans.

Mbappé suffered a muscle injury in his left leg during Real Madrid's 1-1 draw with Real Betis on April 24. The La Liga top scorer is currently sidelined for Sunday's match against Espanyol, and his participation in El Clásico against Barcelona on May 10 remains uncertain. 

Since his injury against Real Betis, several reports have emerged suggesting he will be out until mid-season, meaning he will miss El Clásico or even France's World Cup preparations.

Fans have expressed their anger online, accusing the striker of neglecting his rehabilitation program. One wrote, "You're injured, you let your teammates down... and then you go to Cagliari to celebrate. This is indefensible." Another fan demanded his contract be terminated immediately.

Since mid-February, photos of the French star with the 26-year-old Spanish actress, known for her roles in popular Spanish films and television series since 2016, have circulated widely.
