Egyptian artist Hani Shaker denied rumors about owning a fortune estimated at a billion dollars, stressing that these figures are exaggerated and have no basis in reality. Shaker explained in a television appearance that his artistic and family obligations do not allow him to amass such fortunes, which he described as "astronomical," indicating that his wealth is far from the figures circulating.

In media statements, he pointed out that the exaggerated figures regarding his wealth require an artist to have another profitable business, which he categorically denied having. 

Hani Shaker confirmed that he does not own any commercial projects that would qualify him to reach the alleged financial figures. He added that his preoccupation with his family obligations and his musical band keeps him far from such immense wealth, as he put it.

He revealed that his largest recent expenditure was on finishing touches to his new home, amounting to approximately 50 million Egyptian pounds. The artist's statements come amidst ongoing speculation about his true wealth, with rumors ranging from $30 million to astronomical figures exceeding one billion dollars. However, Hani Shaker has not disclosed the exact figure.
