The ceiling of a historic palace collapsed on her. Abu Zahra's granddaughter survived an accident in Italy.

The young Egyptian violinist Mariam Abu Zahra, the granddaughter of the renowned artist Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, survived a serious accident during a concert tour in Italy after part of the ceiling of a historic palace where she was performing collapsed.

Violinist Ahmed Abu Zahra documented the moment part of the ceiling fell near his daughter while she was performing on his Facebook page. He explained that the accident occurred during her concert tour in Italian cities, where she performs in theaters and historic palaces.

Parts of the ceiling of a Renaissance palace collapsed near Mariam Abu Zahra while she was performing a piece by Niccolò Paganini to the audience, causing panic. Her father, violinist Ahmed Abu Zahra, confirmed that his daughter was unharmed, and that the collapsed piece fell just centimeters from where she was standing on the stage.

Maryam quickly regained her composure, drank some water, dusted her violin, and continued the concert to a standing ovation from the audience, who praised her courage and professionalism.

Maryam's concert tour will take her to Italian cities, including Genoa, Vercelli, and Florence, where she will perform in historic halls and palaces, some dating back centuries.

These buildings are suffering from obvious structural decay and are in need of urgent restoration to ensure the safety of visitors and performers. Her father confirmed that Maryam is grateful for her survival and will continue her concert tour with love and passion, noting that only luck prevented a catastrophe.
