Caio Lucas called up, Sultan Adel returns to UAE squad for World Cup qualifiers

The UAE Football Association has announced the national team squad for the Iran and North Korea qualifiers in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers scheduled for this March. The squad included Sharjah player Caio Lucas, who recently obtained Emirati citizenship, and the return of striker Sultan Adel to the "Whites".

The team will play Iran at Azadi Stadium in the capital Tehran on March 20, while it will face North Korea on March 25 at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in the Saudi capital Riyadh. The Whites are in third place in their group with 9 points.

The list included: Khaled Eisa, Hamad Al Muqbali, Khaled Tawhid, Ali Khaseif, Mohammed Al Attas, Lucas Pimenta, Kwame Kwadoo, Khalifa Al Hammadi, Alaa Eldin Zuhair, Zayed Sultan, Khaled Al Dhanhani, Marcos Meloni, Abdullah Idris, Yahya Nader, Mackenzie Hunt, Abdullah Ramadan, Tahnoon Al Zaabi, Issam Fayez, Yahya Al Ghassani, Harb Abdullah, Fabio De Lima, Jonatas Santos, Luan Pereira, Bruno Oliveira, Caio Lucas, Sultan Adel and Caio Canedo.

 The team will begin its camp in the Jebel Ali area next Sunday, and the players of Shabab Al Ahli, Sharjah, Al Wasl and Al Nasr clubs will join the camp after they finish participating with their clubs in their Asian and Gulf matches.
