Designer Charbel Karam Reimagines Classic Elegance in the “Rebirth of Light” Collection

Lebanese designer Charbel Karam presented his renewed vision of classic elegance in his new “Rebirth of Light” collection for Spring/Summer 2026. Light is a central element, reflecting concepts of hope and renewal, and becoming a source of inspiration that reinterprets classic identity with a modern spirit.

The collection's details tell a visual narrative that begins with the movement of light between sunrise and sunset, translated through a color palette dominated by a regal character. It ranges from gold, inspired by the first rays of dawn, to warm bronze, inspired by the moments of sunset.

In between, colors range from beige and nude shades to touches of burgundy and blue-gray, in a harmony that combines serenity and radiance. The collection features 39 designs ranging from long evening gowns to two-piece looks, showcasing a playful interplay of silhouettes, from A-line to flowing, voluminous cuts, granting women freedom of movement and striking elegance.

In this collection, Karam redefines classic taste with a contemporary twist, directing his designs toward a woman who chooses to express her personality, independent of fashion dictates. He evokes the spirit of international fashion houses, particularly Valentino, through refined lines that evoke timeless luxury.

Charbel Karam utilized lightweight fabrics such as chiffon and muslin, incorporating fibers into some designs, especially capes, to create a geometric dimension that balances softness and structure.

 

Light emerges as an artistic element in the embroidery, its rays reflected through intersecting and scattered lines, executed using clear crystals and sequins, giving each piece luminous reflections that suggest movement and life.
