(iPhone 20 Pro to Come with No Notch)

Apple and Samsung are preparing for the era of bezel-less and buttonless phones.

The smartphone industry has undergone a rapid transformation since the notch became widespread, only to be replaced by punch-hole displays in more expensive models. However, this evolution wasn't enough for Apple and Samsung, who are currently working on launching a completely new era of phones in the coming years.

iPhone 20 Pro with No Bezels or Notches

Rumors are circulating about a special edition iPhone, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the iPhone series in 2027, potentially to be called the iPhone 20 Pro, according to a report published by PhoneArena. According to the reports, the phone will feature a completely bezel-less screen, without any notch or punch-hole displays, and without even the Dynamic Island.

But for this to happen, Apple needs Samsung's support in developing the perfect screen, and it might not be ready by next year as planned. However, once this technology is available, the phone industry is expected to completely reshape itself.

Goodbye to Physical Buttons

According to leaks, future phones will rely on touch controls via the screen's side edges to adjust volume or power off, eliminating the need for any physical buttons.

Chinese companies are also exploring manufacturing such screens, and this technology is expected to be adopted by almost all phones except budget models once it appears in Galaxy and iPhone devices.

Why Does the Future Look Exciting?

Bezel-less and buttonless phones might be controversial, much like the removal of traditional buttons in cars. Personally, I'm looking forward to trying these phones for two reasons: first, because they will look completely futuristic, and second, because they will bring back perfect screens without any notches or holes, something I've missed for years.

With Samsung and Apple poised to lead this revolution, it seems we are on the cusp of a new era of smart design and screens free from visual distortion.
