Galaxy S26 Ultra Charging Speed Exceeds Samsung's Expectations
Samsung has introduced a significant upgrade to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, supporting wired charging up to 60W, compared to 45W in previous Ultra models.
While the company claims this upgrade allows the phone to charge up to 75% in just 30 minutes, real-world usage has shown faster charging speeds than Samsung's official claims.
According to a user on the X platform, real-world usage has shown the Galaxy S26 Ultra charging up to 80% in 30 minutes, compared to Samsung's stated 75%, as reported by the mobile news site SamMobile.
In the next seven minutes, the battery level reaches 91%, and it reaches 100% in 50 minutes. While these figures aren't the best on the market, they are still excellent.
Its main competitor, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Apple's latest flagship phone, can charge up to 65% in 30 minutes and takes 1 hour and 12 minutes to fully charge. Samsung doesn't include a charger in the Galaxy S26 Ultra box, but it does release a 60W charger to take full advantage of the phone's charging speed.
