Benfica fans launched a fierce attack on Sidney López Cabral, a player for the Portuguese team, and demanded his expulsion from the team after he asked for Vinicius Junior's jersey following the 2-1 loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Prestini liked a post criticizing his teammate's behavior.

Real Madrid qualified for the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League after repeating their 2-1 victory over Benfica in the second leg of the playoff round, having won the first leg 1-0.

Sidnei López Cabral Asks for Vinicius' Shirt

Sidnei López Cabral, who joined Benfica in the last winter transfer window, angered many Benfica fans on social media after the defender approached Vinicius after the final whistle and asked for the Brazilian star's shirt.

This incident led to the suspension of Argentine Gianluca Brestiani by UEFA for racially abusing Vinicius in the first leg. 

The Portuguese newspaper Record published a report revealing that Brestiani liked a post criticizing Sidnei López Cabral after he asked for Vinicius's shirt following the match.
