Samsung unveils exclusive Galaxy Z Flip7 for the Olympics

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition, designed specifically for all athletes participating in the Milan 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This special edition device will be provided to approximately 3,800 Olympic and Paralympic athletes from around 90 countries and will accompany them throughout their participation in the Games, according to a statement from Samsung, an Olympic and Paralympic partner.

The Olympic Edition will be integrated into official medal ceremonies via the "Victory Selfie" feature, which is launching for the first time at the Milan 2026 Winter Olympic Games. For the first time, this feature will be available in team sports competitions at the Olympics, allowing all participating athletes to capture their victory moments with their own cameras.

The Galaxy Z Flip Olympic Edition features an iconic design with the Olympic logo on the back, featuring a gradient blue finish with a gold frame. This special edition phone boasts a dual rear camera system, including a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, delivering flagship-level clarity.

Samsung stated that the Galaxy Z Flip Olympic Edition comes with key features for everyday use, including:

- Now Brief: Delivers personalized daily updates such as reminders, calendar events, and fitness summaries. It can also access health data from select apps.

- Photo Assist: Enhances photos with studio-quality improvements by allowing you to move, scan, or zoom objects, adjust angles, and fill backgrounds using AI-powered capabilities.

- Interpreter: Reduces language barriers by providing real-time translation regardless of network connectivity, enabling seamless communication, even in remote mountainous areas.
