Egyptian actress Yasmine Abdel Aziz expressed her outrage over a doctored image of her naked that circulated on social media coinciding with the release of the promotional trailer for her new series.

The Egyptian star reposted the doctored image on her official Facebook page, along with screenshots of the pages that shared it.

She commented, "The campaigns have begun, and I'm being photographed naked everywhere," then vowed to take legal action, saying, "Fine, we will file a lawsuit, and the cybercrime unit will uncover who is behind these campaigns and the defamation of my image in this way."

 The star of the series "And I Met Her Lover" also questioned whether the matter was related to the series, asking, "All this just because of the release of the promotional trailer? What will you do when the series actually airs?"

Abdel Aziz also addressed the pages that published the fake image, saying, "To whoever created these pages and posts, I have only one thing to say: May God hold you accountable." The actress expressed her hope that the owners of these pages would suffer the same harm she endured as a result of publishing the doctored image, noting the psychological distress she experienced.
