An American woman suffered a critical health condition. The woman experienced severe illness and stomach and back pain, leading to the amputation of her arms and legs after contracting a serious bacterial infection from her dog. The infection occurred after she hugged and licked the dog upon returning from vacation.

Medical reports stated that the woman suffered from severe illness, stomach and back pain, general fatigue, and loss of consciousness. Tests revealed she had contracted a bacteria found in dogs' mouths, which can be transmitted to humans through licking or biting, especially if there is an open wound.

The bacteria entered her bloodstream through a wound on her arm, causing severe blood poisoning and gangrene. Doctors were forced to amputate her arms and legs to save her life.

Doctors warned that this infection, although rare, can cause serious complications including sepsis, kidney failure, heart attacks, and tissue damage, stressing the need for caution when handling pets if there are any open wounds.
