Samsung Plans a Unique Design Update for Upcoming Earbuds
Samsung's Galaxy Buds 4 Pro Will Come with a Unique Feature for Those Who Lose Their Phones
New leaks have revealed that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 Pro wireless earbuds will come with a unique new feature. In addition to revealing the overall design of this generation of earbuds, the leaks indicate that the earbuds will feature a new function called "Find Your Phone."
According to a report by Android Authority, a technology news website, the charging case will include a button that users can press to locate their lost phone using audible signals.
Pressing the button on the case will make the phone ring if the earbuds are connected. Until now, users could activate the "Find Your Earbuds" feature on their phones to locate their lost earbuds, but it seems that Samsung is planning to offer a reverse feature to help them find their phone as well.
Design
For the design of the upcoming earbuds, Samsung opted for a simple color scheme of black and white. However, the biggest surprise is the prominent circular metal mesh on the outside of each earbud.
While there's usually just a small hole for the noise-canceling microphone, this mesh is significantly larger. This suggests that Samsung might be aiming for a more professional and premium microphone-inspired design to give the Buds 4 Pro a more sophisticated look.
This distinctive design change on the Buds 4 Pro underscores Samsung's commitment to differentiating this new model from the older Galaxy Buds lineup. This leak reinforces the widespread belief that Samsung will be significantly revamping its entire wearables lineup in conjunction with the anticipated launch of the Galaxy S26 series early next year.
