Fake Doctor Arrested Running a Dental Treatment and Cosmetic Center in Egypt

A pharmacist was arrested for running a center specializing in dermatology and skin care without the necessary licenses to practice this activity.

The Consumer Protection Agency in Beheira, in cooperation with the Free Treatment Department of the Health Directorate in Damanhour, carried out extensive campaigns against medical facilities in Damanhour.  The campaigns resulted in the arrest of two medical centers operated without legal licenses and by medically unqualified individuals.

During the campaign, a woman with a high school diploma was arrested for running a dental treatment and cosmetic center. She was impersonating a dentist and practicing without medical qualifications. A pharmacist was also arrested for running a center specializing in dermatology and skin care without the necessary licenses to practice this activity.

 The medical equipment used in the two centers was confiscated. The two facilities were completely sealed and sealed. Both cases were referred to the Public Prosecution Office for necessary legal action.

For her part, Beheira Governor Dr. Jacqueline Azer stressed the need to intensify oversight of private medical facilities. She emphasized ensuring their compliance with health requirements and professional standards to protect citizens' health and ensure the provision of safe, high-quality medical services.

 The governor emphasized the continuation of surprise inspection campaigns on medical facilities. The campaigns aim to detect any violations that threaten citizens' health and take deterrent measures against anyone who practices medical activity illegally, to preserve the safety and security of the governorate's residents.
