Months after her disappearance, the body of an Egyptian woman was found in Germany.

The case of the disappearance of an Egyptian wife in Germany has returned to the forefront after her body was found buried in a forest.

More than seven months after her disappearance, German authorities on Sunday found the body of 35-year-old Iman Mohamed Hassan by chance while searching for a child who had wandered into the woods near her home in Bad Eibling, southern Bavaria. Police dogs dug through the remains and, to their surprise, uncovered the body of a human.

Authorities arrested the husband and charged him with his wife's murder. The children were placed in a foster home in Germany. Meanwhile, the victim's family in Egypt appealed to German authorities and all relevant parties to take custody of the victim's three children. However, the authorities did not respond to these calls, given that the three children hold German citizenship.

The crisis began with the disappearance of Iman Mohamed Hassan in Germany last November. The sister of the missing Egyptian woman broke her silence and took to the pages of Egyptian expatriates in Germany to inquire about her sister. She reported that the family's last contact with her was about a month ago, and since then, it has been impossible to contact her, and her social media pages are no longer active.

The victim's sister revealed the husband's strange reaction to the matter. After the family contacted him to inquire about the reason for his wife's absence, he stated that she had left the house a month earlier and had not returned, leaving behind her three children, including a 7-month-old infant. However, the husband had not reported his wife's absence to the German authorities.

The victim's sister also confirmed in a post that her sister's husband was living a normal life, unconcerned by his wife's sudden absence.

On the other hand, some of those close to the missing woman, Iman, in Germany reported that recurring disputes had arisen between her and her husband, prompting her to seek refuge at a shelter for abused women in Germany with her children. They believed the husband was suspicious of his wife's disappearance.

Al Arabiya.net and Al Hadath.net learned that the missing woman's husband wrote several offensive posts and comments about his wife after her disappearance, accusing her of dishonorable acts. This prompted several of her acquaintances there to respond to these accusations and insults, emphasizing that she is a well-mannered woman who is respected by all.
