Yemen's Houthi militia storm women's club in Sanaa
Yesterday, a leader in the Houthi militia stormed a women's club in the capital, Sana'a, which is under the control of the militia, and closed it down.
Local sources said that the Houthi leader appointed by the militia as director of the Al-Sab’een District, “Mohammed Al-Washli,” stormed a women’s club in the “Saba Mall” commercial center in the Al-Asbahi neighborhood, south of Sana’a.
The sources explained that Al-Washli assaulted the women, threatened them with enforced disappearance, and forcibly removed them and closed the club.
This comes in light of the campaign carried out by the Houthi militia against wedding halls and women's clubs, as the Houthis claim that these places are practicing what is called soft war against society, and are contrary to the faith identity, according to their claim.
